Mrs. Blanchard currently serves on the Family-Probate Pattern Jury Charge Committee of the State Bar of Texas and is on the board of directors for the Child Protection Connection (formerly known as Texas Lawyers for Children), a non-profit organization that advocates for abused and neglected children and provides statewide assistance to judges and attorneys who handle abuse and neglect cases.
